  • All reservations must be paid in full within one week of reservation or the reservation will be cancelled.
  • Checks or cash are accepted - If a reservation is made within two weeks of trip date, a check must be sent at the time of reservation.
  • If you cancel your reservation 14 days or more before the trip date, all money will be refunded minus a 15% booking fee.
  • If you cancel or reschedule your reservation 13 days or less before the trip date, NO refunds will be given.
 
 
  • Docking - We dock and load at Knight's Marine in Rockland which is adjacent to the Maine State Ferry terminal on Main St. Parking is availible at Knights Marine and the ferry landing.
  • Every effort will be made to leave on time.
  • If you must delay the departure, please call to inform us. Often times, there are other trips scheduled on a single day. Keep in mind that the trips must also be cooperative with the tides.
  • Your reservation may be cancelled with no refunds if you delay your departure.
  • Please be on the dock at least 15 mintues before departure time.

  • Your luggage will be placed in a dry location, however all gear should be packed as "water-proof" as possible.
  • Penobscot Ferry and Transport is not responsible for any damage to baggage or freight brought on board.
 
 
  • Trips will be cancelled if the captain decides it is unsafe to depart.
  • If a trip is cancelled due to weather, all deposits will be refunded, or, if you choose, the trip can be rescheduled.
  • We will do our best to contact you: call if you have any questions or concerns.
  • Next day departures are possible if the weather improves. You may also fly to your destination.
