Charters can be arranged for any purpose and to any destination based on a $375.00 per hour fee. For prices on a different place of depature or arrival, please contact us.

Bennett Island Walking Tour

Depart from Rockland and head to Criehaven to discover the literary island created by Elisabeth Ogilvie. Bring a picnic lunch, relax at Schoolhouse Cove, and watch the gulls play. Walk the paths that Joanne and Nils walked and see the coves and houses that brought this wonderful paradise to life within all of the "Bennett Island" books.

Matinicus to Criehaven Day Trip

The Jackie Renee will take you from Matinicus to Criehaven. Return to Matinicus after 3-4 hours on Criehaven.

Puffin Trips to Matinicus Rock

Take the boat from Criehaven or Matinicus for a cruise around Matinicus Rock. While we slowly circle around the Rock, you can see Matinicus Rock Lighthouse along with many magnificent and varied species of native birds. Seals are almost always seen on this trip, and Puffins reside at the Rock from May to the third week of August.

Scheduled trips are the most economical method of travelling to the islands in the Penobscot Bay. The service is available to Criehaven and Matinicus - once a day on Fridays and Saturdays, June through September.

There is an additional fee for early morning or early evening departures.
For North Haven and Vinalhaven routes, there is a minimum requirement of two passengers and a maximum of 20 passengers per party.

Children under 2 years of age are free, and they do not count in the total number of passengers when determining fares.
No charge for pets - dogs must be on a leash and cats in a carrier.
No charge for bicycles.
$15.00 one-way fee for kayaks.
Luggage and freight per passenger is limited to the amount the passenger needs for a maximum of a two week stay. Contact us ahead of time if you have luggage and freight exceeding the above limitation - extra charges or limitation may apply.

For construction supplies or just lots of stuff, a freight run is available to islands in the Penobscot Bay. The fee for a freight run to Criehaven or Matinicus is $325.00. Up to 6 passengers are included in the fee, if there is room. At least one representative will be required to help load and offload. Cargo loading fees will be $60.00 per hour while waiting or loading the materials on or off.
